At Blasting Magic we operate modern plant and equipment enabling us to keep quality and reliability paramount.

All our operatives are very experienced in all blast cleaning techniques and are CSCS health & safety card holders.

We have encountered every possible scenario regarding blast cleaning, pressure washing and chemical cleaning, whether it is the sensitive cleaning of fragile stonework or the powerful grit blasting of heavily rusted steel work.

Although we have the knowledge and experience to carry out just about any blast cleaning project, the majority of our work tends to be on sensitive projects such as houses, listed buildings, historic buildings and barn conversions where we remove paint from ancient oak beams, fireplaces, brickwork and stone and we find the end results very rewarding.

We are proud to have been working for the Newcastle Councils Heritage team on one of their projects,

The George Stephenson railway shed in the city centre.

Delicate low pressure blast cleaning to remove many layers of paint from the cast iron columns and floor supports,

We then re-coated in Zincphosphate primer prior to the fire protection., We were then contracted to remove many years of paint from all the internal walls to leave as a clean brick finish, all ready for this fabulous building to be converted into office spaces.

This lovely stone building above caught fire in the 1980's and always looked dull, this was cleaned by soft powder blasting to return it back to its former glory during lockdown 2020, We don't use soda as it is Alkali and turns stone white and possibly furs up over years.
